From mountainous vineyards with low yields per acre in northern Chios (an ancient region of Ariousia famous for its wines), where we cultivate the indigenous varieties Agiannitiko, Fokiano and Mandilaria, we produce this red sweet wine, in a traditional way by sun-drying the grapes for two weeks to concentrate their aroma and sugars. Aromatic notes of honey and dried fruit dominate, while in the mouth its rich flavor is rounded off by soft tannins. Served at 16-180 C.
